Possible Features of the iPhone 16
There has been much speculation over the past few months regarding the features of the various iPhone 16 models. Analysts suggest this could be the last lineup that follows Apple’s current structure of standard, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max models. Starting in 2025, the company might replace the Plus version with a Slim or Air version of its smartphone.
Experts suggest that the iPhone 16 standard and Plus models will see significant changes in their camera setups. The rear cameras might be positioned vertically instead of diagonally, as seen in the last three generations. Both devices are expected to feature a customizable action button. This switch, currently exclusive to the Pro and Pro Max models, can be configured to activate certain functions, such as muting the phone, accessing specific apps, or enabling the camera with a single tap.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to feature a more robust camera module compared to their predecessors. They might include a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Users could make the most of this feature with a possible side button designed to enable advanced image and video capture functions. The screen sizes could reach 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively. The iPhone 16 series will likely come with substantial improvements in energy efficiency. Information published on the Chinese social network Weibo indicates the battery capacities for the new generation of phones could be as follows:

- Pro model: 3,355 mAh

The four devices are expected to be powered by two variants of the A18 chip: a standard version for entry-level models and a more powerful version for premium devices. All models will be capable of running Apple Intelligence functions and applications, though there may be differences in speed and performance.
Reports also indicate that the Apple Watch Series 10 might be unveiled during next month’s event. Leaks suggest the new generation of the smartwatch will feature a slimmer design and might include a 49-millimeter option. The gadget could incorporate new health functions, such as an enhanced sleep analysis tool and blood pressure monitoring. Additionally, the company may introduce a new Apple Watch SE, which would feature a plastic casing, making it more affordable.
